As a challenge to solve social issues, we launched "Project Alter," centered on our proprietary seaweed-based biomaterial. 2050年のカーボンニュートラル実現に向け、藻類や微生物を活用した「脱植物」のバイオ素材が次世代の鍵として注目されています。プロジェクトアルターでは、海藻から独自の抽出・混練技術等を駆使して100%植物由来のマテリアルデザインと開発に成功しました。さらに、従来の食材アップサイクルを一歩進め、廃棄に代わる新たな選択肢（Alternative）を提示することで、新しい循環型エコノミー形成をデザインします。

Project Alter has successfully pioneered 100% plant-based material design by leveraging original seaweed extraction and kneading techniques. We go beyond conventional upcycling to offer a true "Alternative" to waste, designing the architecture of a new circular economy.
100%植物由来のマテリアル Alter
海藻素材「Alter」は、廃棄される野菜・果物の皮や種をベースに、海藻や植物油をブレンドした100%植物由来のバイオポリマーです。プリントやレーザーカット、縫製など多様な加工に対応する高いデザイン性を持ちながら、石油由来原料を一切含まないため、使用後は土に還る「生分解性」を備えています。プラスチックや紙、革に代わる、環境負荷の極めて低い次世代の選択肢です。
Alter is a 100% plant-based biopolymer crafted from a base of upcycled vegetable and fruit peels and seeds, blended with seaweed and plant oils. While offering high design versatility—compatible with printing, laser cutting, and sewing—it is entirely free of petroleum-based raw materials, making it fully biodegradable and capable of returning to the earth. Alter stands as a next-generation, low-impact alternative to traditional materials such as plastic, paper, and leather.
